The entire book is a build up on the internal conflicts a masculine guy has with bottoming. I honestly found the over arcing conflict to be kinda silly. I fell asleep a few times listening, even during some of the Erotic moments, just didn't really do much for me. Overall, I feel like this was very chicken soup, easily consumable, predictable, still satisfying but was nothing special. The Erotic moments might help distract from some of the romance plot. As much as i love these types of books, it didn't work here, and not as believably. It was a enemy to friends to lovers type of relationship. The writing though was really well done, just like the first book, it was detailed and well thought out. It was a steamy read but nothing that felt as deep as the first book in the series. Eh, not sure if it is just me but the dynamics of this relationship just didn't feel as natural, fulfilling or interesting as in the first book.
